MCT"s Favorite Stamp of the Month!

Hi and Welcome to My Creative Time's Favorite Stamp of the Month Challenge.  

This month we are featuring 3 stamp sets! "Your My Best Buddy", "My Little Firecracker" & "Have Fun in the Sun" All 3 of these sets will all be on sale the entire month of June!  Sale ends June 30th.

For my project I made a little scene card using my all time favorite cartridge Create A Critter and the "Have Fun in the Sun"  stamp set!

Teacher You Rock!

Hi! Hope you are all having a great day!! It is the last day of peace and quiet, I mean the last day of school for all my kiddos!! So I am enjoying a little uninterrupted computer time this AM.  Just catching up on all the blogs I follow! :) 

Just wanted to post a picture of a little gift I made for my daughter's teacher. 

I found the little green bucket at Target and the little plant at Walmart.

I just added some tissue paper and stuck the plant in. :) lol! guess you could have figured that out! 

I made the little tag with My Creative Time's Tag Die set.  The apple is from Create-A-Critter, and is cut at 2 1/2 inches the Teacher stamp is from MCT's You Had Me at Chocolate set I stamped in with MS embossing ink and used Recollections white embossing powder and heat embossed it.   You Rock is from MCT's Small Talk set!  I added some ribbon from my stash and some hemp twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique!

Ice Cream!! :)

Hi!  Just wanted to share a card I made today using the Penny Black's Hot but Cool stamp. The fun sentiment is from My Creative Time's Celebrate Good Times set! I thought it went great with this image!

The papers are all from the DCWV Carnival paper pack, the ribbon is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.  It is actually seam binding that comes flat but I just spritzed it with some Glimmer Mist and scrunched it up and then let it dry to make it crinkly!!

Hi!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Mine was good, got a few things done around the house that I have been putting off for a while! 

Just wanted to share a card I made for one of my crafty pen-pals! 

For this card I used the Penny Black stamp "High Spirits"  I think she is so cute :)  And very easy to color!  Not a lot of blending required.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Bloom Where You are Planted set!

My Creative Time May Stamp Release Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to MCT's May Stamp Release Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Shar's beautiful blog then you are headed in the right direction!

So for my card today I used the Here's Lookin At You stamp and die set! Love this set!! The little tie is my favorite!! :)  Anyway,  lots of graduations coming up so I thought I would get a jump on making cards!  This one was quick and easy to make.  I cut out the card base in black using my Silhouette machine, adhered a green piece of card stock to the inside, ran the new graduation cap die through my cuttlebug, stamped the sentiment, added some black stitching, brads and ribbon  and that was it! :)

The new release is still on sale if you haven't ordered it yet!!  The sale ends on May 18th @ midnight!

My Creative Time My Stamp Release Week Day 4

Hi! Welcome to day 4 of MCT's May Stamp Release Week!  Today will are all showcasing the Celebrate Good Times stamp and die set!! I am loving this one (too!!)!  I know I say that everyday, lol! but its true.  This one is a lot of fun with a lot of great Birthday/Party/Fun sentiments!

For my card today I tried something different.....

a shadow box card!  It is very very pink!!!!  lol!!  I wasn't really planning on all the pink but it just worked out that way.  I'll give it to my daughter for her birthday next year, she is crazy about pink ;)  Anyway, the card  is a regular A2 size.  I cut out the back in white and the front in patterned card stock.  I ran it through my cuttlebug using a Spellbinder circle die, then cut out a scallop circle, then cut out the center of that with the circle die to make the frame around it.  (hope that makes sense!) The cupcake is made with the die that is included in this set!! So easy!  The sentiment is actually all on one stamp, I just inked up the parts separately to make them fit where I wanted!

Hi and welcome to day 3 of MCT's May stamp release week!  Hope you are all enjoying this week of ideas so far! :)  Today we are all featuring the Fun Pockets stamp and die set!  It another FUN set!! 

I used the Pocket die with the fringe and the coordinating heart stamp which I paper pieced. I adhered everything to the scallop tag from the Tag Dies set.  I inked everything up and added some twine, ribbon and buttons!  Super quick and simple!

My Creative Time May Stamp Release Day 2

Hi and welcome to day 2 of MCT's May Stamp Release Week!  Today we are all featuring the new Here's Lookin At You stamp and coordinating dies set!  Another one I think you're going to love! For my project I made a little tag for my Dad for Father's day.  

When I first saw this set I knew I wanted to do something with the little Tie die, so I looked and looked for a little shirt cut that I could make but could not find one!  So I made one myself! :)  Hope you like it!  I popped it up on some foam tape and adhered it to one of the tags from the Tag Dies set.  I actually cut out the tag 3 times in coordinating paper to give it a layered effect.  The paper is all from DCWV's Guy Stack.  I inked around everything with distress ink and added some hemp twine from Liz's boutique which you can visit here.

May Stamp Release Day 1

Hi and welcome to MCT's May stamp release week.   Today we are all featuring the super cool What's Growing On stamp and Die set!!  It is another one of those sets that is just so much fun to play with! :)

lol!! Isn't the sentiment too fun!! I just love a good pun! And who doesn't love a cool stache!! The sentiment,  glasses and mustache are all from the What's Growing On set.  I adhered them onto the banner shaped tag from the Tag Die set!  Behind the tag is some cool burlap from my fellow design team member Liz from Liz's Paper Loft! She now has her own little boutique with some really cool stuff in it!  You can check it out here. I also used some hemp twine from her shop to secure the ribbon and button to the tag.

My Creative Time

Happy Happy Birthday!

Hi! Just wanted to share a Birthday card I made today using Penny Black's "Cinnamon" stamp and My Creative Time's "Wow So Many Candles" set!!

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers.  It was pretty easy! :)  Not a lot of blending required!  I cut out the image with  Spellbinder dies, added some flowers from my stash and brads!  I stamped the sentiment Happy Happy Birthday in Brilliance Graphite Black ink and punched it out with my Stampin Up large oval punch and adhered that to Stampin Up's large scallop oval!
