My Creative Time Scrappy Monday!

Hi and Welcome to My Creative Time's first Scrappy Monday Challenge.  For this challenge you can make only layouts in any size you want using the sketch for inspiration! :)  If you're anything like me then you have a lot of catching up to do with scrap-booking!! It has kind of taken a back seat to card making with me! So this is the motivation I've needed to start doing layouts again!  You will probably be seeing a lot of layouts featuring my Daughters! :)  I have been (not  lol!) working on an 8X8 album for my MIL for quite some time now!!  Maybe soon I will have it done!

Here is the sketch

And.....here is my layout! :)

I used MCT's Build A Banner kit for the banner at the top and the word sisters at the bottom.  LOVE this kit and I seem to use it a lot when doing layouts! :)  The actual letters are from the Anyday Bingo and Crossword stamp set and the Santa Clause is Coming to Town stamp and Santa Suit are from the All Around Christmas set!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you join in the challenge and get some pages done!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday!

Hi and Welcome to MCT's Throwback Thursday Challenge!  For this Challenge you can use any frame from any cartridge!  You can link up your project on Emma's blog using Mr Linky! :)

For my project today I was going for the "shabby-chic" look :)   I used the Wild Card cartridge for the frame.  The card is an A2 size and the frame is cut @ 3 X 3.9. I sized it using Cricut Craftroom.  I cut the frame out twice and painted it with Tim Holtz crackle paint.  The back ground stamp is from the Spring-Chicken set from My Creative Time.  The flower was cut out using the new Layered Flower Dies from MCT and the sentiment is from the Floral Sentiments set!!

Thanks for looking and I hope you play along!

My Creative Time April Release Blog Hop

Hi and welcome!! :)  Hope you are enjoying the hop so far!  If you arrived here from Shar's blog you are on the right track!

For my project today I decided to step out of my card making comfort zone and make an altered box!  I used one of the cardboard boxes I found at Michael's! :)

I used the AWESOME Rolled Flower Dies and the coordinating Floral Sentiments set. Making rolled flowers is my new favorite thing!! :)
I covered the box in cute polka-dot paper by Jili Bee Designs. I inked around the edges of everything with TH distress ink.  I added some ribbon around the lid and some twine and a button.  The leaves were made with the Martha Stewart Rose Leaf punch (on sale now at Michael's for 40% off! yay!!).  I stamped the Hello sentiment onto the MCT Teeny Tag die from the Teeny Tag Greetings set!

My Creative Time's Sneaky Peek Week!!

Welcome to day 3 of My Creative Time's April Sneaky Peek Week.  Today we are all showcasing the GORGEOUS flower dies Emma designed and the Floral Sentiments set!
This was my first time making rolled flowers!  It really is so much fun!!

For my project I made a Birthday Card.  I used paper from the My Minds Eye Market Street collection and my favorite TH ink again!!  Tea Dye, i love it. :)  I inked up the edges of the flowers before I rolled them and used a hot glue gun to secure it.  The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

My Creative Time's Sneaky Peek Week!!

Hi and welcome to day 2 of April's Sneaky Peek Week!  Today we are all giving you a peek at the fun new Bloom Where You Are Planted set. It has lots of fun "flower" sentiments that are really quite versatile!

I made a card using the Thanks a Bunch stamp! :)

The pitcher and flowers are from the Country Life cartridge.  I cut it out at 5", added a few buttons and some twine and that was it! :)  Super simple today!

My Creative Time's Sneaky Peek Week!!

HI!! Welcome to day one of MCT's April Sneaky Peek Week!! Today we are all showcasing the All Around Everything and All Around Everything Accessories sets!! I'm so excited about these! I have been hoping Emma would come up some more All Around Stamps and boy, she did not disappoint!! I think just about every occasion is covered!! :)

For my project I made a little Welcome Baby card.  I used the Welcome Sweet Baby stamp from the All Around Everything set.  The little Teddy bear in the center is from the All Around Accessories set!  Isn't he ADORABLE!!  I stamped him onto pink card stock and then cut him out and popped him up on a foam square! The little sleeping baby is from the Baby Steps cartridge.  It is cut out at 2 1/2 inches (which BTW is the size of the baby, not the whole thing! weird!) I added a button and some twine and inked around everything with TH Distress ink.
