Hi!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  For today's project I made a gift tag.  I was inspired by Trell's rosettes he has been making and really wanted to try to make one!  This was my first attempt and it was pretty easy! Trell has a tutorial video on how to make them, and other than getting hot glue all over my hands it went fairly smooth! :)  Although I can see in the picture the scallop circle is slightly off center!  Well,  I glued it  down with my hot glue gun so that is where it is staying!  lol! :)
For the base of the tag I used the XL Label Die.  I did cut it out in the poster board first then covered that with patterned paper.  I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circle dies.  The sentiment and the Santa coat is from the All Around Christmas set.  I colored in the coat with markers and added some glitter (i love glitter!)  The small tag is cut from one of the dies from the Build a Banner set.  The No Peeking sentiment is also from the All Around Christmas set.

Here is the back:

I cut out the To and From tag with the Curly Label die and used the Gift Card Sentiments set for the To and From!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

For today's project I made another card! :)  It's a little bear putting the finishing touches on her little snowman!  I just love the sentiment and have been wanting to use it since I first saw it in the MCT's Mixed Holiday Sentiment set.
The bear is from my favorite, Create a Critter.  It was cut out at 2.5".   The snowman was cut at 3" and it is from the Doodlecharm cartridge.  The hat is from Create a Critter, it goes with the Mr Peanut guy! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave comments!  I really appreciate it :)

I couldn't let this hop go by without making at least 1 Christmas scene card!  So here it is! :)  Little Rudolph is just so happy that he is going to be pulling Santa's sleigh in a few days that he is jumping for joy!!  LOL!!! (no I'm not delirious!)
Anyway.... :) the card is an A2 size.  The Christmas Tree is from the Winter Frolic Cartridge, it was cut out at 3 1/2".  The penguin and the Rudolf are both from Create A Critter.  The penguin is 2" and the reindeer is 3".  I added glitter to the white part of the card, and stickles to the ornaments and scarves.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's All Around Christmas set.  :)

You didn't think the 12 days of Christmas would go by without Santa showing up did you?  :) lol! Well here he is!  Isn't he cute!  I just love this little guy, he is from the Simply Charmed cartridge.  He is cut at 3 1/2".  I used MCT's Build A Banner set to make the little banner. I printed the Ho Ho Ho from my computer then cut it out using the small stitched circle die from that set.  It was pretty easy, just took a couple practice cuts before I got the words centered!  The Merry Christmas sentiment is from MCT's All Around Christmas set.  :)  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi! For today's project I made some Christmas ornaments.  I decided to take the easy route today  so rather than use my Circut I used some Snowman stickers I found at Walmart.  They are from Jolee's boutique. :)  I think they are kinda cute!!

The base of the ornament is the MCT's Extra Large Lable Die.  I first cut it out from a piece of poster board I happened to have on hand, I wanted it to be a little thicker than just cardstock.  Then I cut out some patterned paper using the die and covered the front and back of the poster board.  I stuck the stickers on and added sentiments on to little tags I made using the Build A Banner Kit.  The sentiments are from the Mixed Holiday Sentiment and All Around Christmas sets.  I inked around the edges of the base with Tom Holtz ink in Vintage Photo and added stiching with a gel pen around the tags and inked those up too!  Super simple!!  I love MCT's dies!! :)

For today's project I made (yet another!!) card! :)  I hope you aren't getting tired of my pretty, pretty paper! :)  I just LOVE this paper!  It is the 12 Days of Christmas paper collection by My Mind's Eye.
Anyhoo,  for this card I used the Doodlecharm cartridge for the cute snowman, I thought he went really well with this sentiment, he kinda looks like he has his arms open ready for a big Christmas Hug! lol! He was cut out at 3 1/2 inches.  The hat is from Create a Critter.  It goes along with the turkey,  I cut that out at 4".  I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Tea Dye.  I added some ribbon for a scarf and some twine, a pretty red button, and holly to his hat to spruce it up a bit.  The card is an A2 size! The sentiment is from My Creative Times Mixed Holiday Sentiments set (LOVE that set!!)

Today I made a card using the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge.  I guess I must be on a bird kick! lol!  The little guy was cut out at 3 inches, I popped him up on some foam squares and adhered it to the oval and frame I cut out with Spellbinder dies.  The senitment Warm Holiday Wishes is from MCT's Mixed Hoilday Sentiments set.  I added a sheer blue ribbon, did some stiching with jelly roll pens and that was it! :)

Today I made card using the Winter Frolic cartridge!  (it is my only totally Winter/Christmas cartridge but luckily it has a lot of cute images on it!)
This card is a standard A2 size.  I cut the little branch/bird house image out at 3". I added some glitter to the branches and top of the bird house. I was trying to go for the look of snow :)  The sentiment "All Hearts Go Home for Christmas" is from MCT's Mixed Holiday Sentiments set.  I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and embossed it with black embossing powder to make it shiny!
I added a little bit of Trendy Twine and some blue gems at the bottom.  Hope you like it :)
Thanks for stopping, or should I say hopping (har har) by!

For today's project I made a little treat holder using the Stitched Lollipop Die.  This is the first time I have used it and it works like a charm!  I know I will definitely be using it a lot!  I'm so looking forward to making Valentines Day treats with my daughters using this! :)  It is so easy to whip up a quick little gift you could give to a friend or coworker to brighten their day!   All I had to do for this was run the die through my Cuttlebug using patterned paper then fill a little treat bag with some chocolate kisses, secure it with a twist tie and use the Stitched Scallop and Circle Die set in coordinating colors to adhere to the top of the lollipop die to cover the twist tie.  In retrospect I probably should have left the back uncovered so the recipient could actually get into the candy with out having to tear it open!  lol!  oh well! :)   Anyway...to finish it off I added some Prima flowers I found at Tuesday Morning (LOVE that place!!!) and some red ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and thank you for your kind comments over the last 2 days I really do appreciate it and I read every one (sometimes twice)!  :)

Today I made some Candy Cane treat holders.  My youngest is in preschool and will be having a little Christmas party in a couple weeks so I thought I would get a jump on things and make some of these for her to hand out!
They were super simple to make.  I used My Creative Time's XL Label Die, I cut out 2 for each candy cane, glued them together leaving a little opening in the top and bottom.  Then I used MCT'sStitched Scallop and Circle dies and the All Around Christmas stamp set to stamp the sentiments and images.   Then colored them in with Copic markers and added some glitter to each one.  Probably not necessary for preschoolers but I DO love glitter! :)  I then stuck the candy cane through the opening and added some ribbon. Really easy! :)  I also used the Classmates Valentines set for the To: and From: I stamped on the back!

For today I made a simple card using the Winter Frolic Cartridge.  The card is   5 1/2 X 5 1/2.   The ornament is cut out at 3 1/4 inches.  I cut the frame and oval out using my Spellbinder dies. The paper is all from the 12 Days of Christmas collection by My Minds Eye.  I LOVE this paper so you may be seeing it a lot! :)  The leaves behind the frame are from one of the Christmas pics from Michael's, it was really cheap, like less then 50 cents. I just cut what I needed off and adhered it to the background paper with these super sticky, thin dimensionals I found at Tuesday Morning.  I added some Stickles to the star on the ornament.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's All Around Christmas set!  I stamped it in white chalk ink then added white embossing powder.  :)  Thanks for stopping by!

This is my first EVER blog hop!! I'm so excited!  Thank you so much for stopping by! :)  Today I am showcasing the new BLACK BELT stamp set! :)  I decided to make a card for my little cousin who has been in karate classes for the past 3 years now.  She loves it and hopes to go all the way to getting her black belt!

I got the inspiration for the card from my fellow design team member Katie.  She used the stamping off technique on her Slam Dunk card and I really thought it looked so cool!  So THANKS Katie! :)  This is not a typical card for me, no busy background paper or googly eyes!  lol!  It's rather simple looking, but I do like the way it turned out!  It has sort of a "zen" feel to it.  ;)

It is 5 1/2X5 1/2.  The Karate silhouette and Born to be a Black belt sentiment are both from the Black Belt stamp set.  The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Sports Sentiments set.

Thanks for stopping by!
Good luck!

Tracy
