This is my first EVER blog hop!! I'm so excited!  Thank you so much for stopping by! :)  Today I am showcasing the new BLACK BELT stamp set! :)  I decided to make a card for my little cousin who has been in karate classes for the past 3 years now.  She loves it and hopes to go all the way to getting her black belt!

I got the inspiration for the card from my fellow design team member Katie.  She used the stamping off technique on her Slam Dunk card and I really thought it looked so cool!  So THANKS Katie! :)  This is not a typical card for me, no busy background paper or googly eyes!  lol!  It's rather simple looking, but I do like the way it turned out!  It has sort of a "zen" feel to it.  ;)

It is 5 1/2X5 1/2.  The Karate silhouette and Born to be a Black belt sentiment are both from the Black Belt stamp set.  The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Sports Sentiments set.

Thanks for stopping by!
Good luck!

I love my Cricut, don't get me wrong! But sometimes it is nice to make a card without having to deal with loading the paper into a machine and these stamps make it possible! :)

I am SO excited to be participating in my first Sneaky Peek Week with My Creative Time!!
For today I am giving you a peek at the awesome sports themed set called Touchdown!
For my project I decided to make a scrapbook layout. :)
I have been making exclusively cards lately and forgot how fun and satisfying it is to make a nice scrapbook page!  I am really happy with how it turned out!  I think this set is the perfect complement to a football themed page!  Don't you!? :)
This is an 8X8 page.  For the banner I used My Creative Time's Build a Banner Kit, I stamped the name, using the Anyday Bingo and Crossword set, in Rich Cocoa Memento ink. The football player, football and word DEFENSE are all part of the TOUCHDOWN set.   I stamped the football player  silhouette,  in white chalk ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder! I stamped the word defense onto the large curly label using the same Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  The paper is all from The Guy Stack by DCWV.  I inked around all the dark paper with the white chalk ink and around all the white paper with Tim Holtz  distress ink in Tea Dye.
Don't forget to leave your comments here and at all the rest of the designers blogs for a chance to win some awesome prizes!

Toad-ally awesome Thanksgiving!

Hi!  This is a card I made for the Tacky Tuesday Challenge on Facebook!  For the challenge you had to use any frog and the word frog or toad in the sentiment.  I always have a lot of fun with this challenge! :)  I'm hoping you can tell it's a frog (or toad?lol) dressed up like a turkey!

This is a first for me!! A shaped card!! Yay!  I'm trying to branch out a little :)  I also tried some doodling but obviously have a long way to go on that!

For this card I used Mini Monsters for the frog, and Create a Critter for the turkey tail feathers, hat and waddle (?).  The frog was cut out at 2" and the turkey parts (sounds scary!lol!) were cut out at 3 1/2".  The paper is from a Recollections paper pad, Night and Fall.  The sentiment was printed from my computer and cut out with My Creative Time's Curly Label die.

Christmas Card

Hi!  Just wanted to give a BIG thanks to all my followers!  I really appreciated all the kind comments and encouraging words on my announcement of becoming a DT member at My Creative Time.  It really means a lot to me! :)

I  wanted to share a card a made today!  I found these cute little snowflake ornaments at  the Dollar Tree yesterday and I knew I wanted to make a card using them as soon I saw them!

For the card I used LOTS of My Creative Time products!! I truly love them, they are so versatile and I love how Emma designed them so you can mix and match so many of them! :)  I used the XL Label Die and stamped  the snowflake border with a stamp from the XL Label Border set.  The snowman is a stamp from MCT's All Around Accessories set.  I added some glitter to the snowflake border and colored the snowman with Copics.  So Easy!!! :) It's really sparkly in person! :)  The sentiment is stamped on the stitched oval die and is from the Gift Card Sentiment set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Creative Time Design Team Member!!! :)

Hi Everyone!

I am so thrilled to announce that I am one of the new Design Team members at My Creative Time! :)  I am so grateful to Emma for giving me this chance and so excited to begin this new journey, and my hope is that you will follow me and that I might inspire you along the way. :)

Here is a little bit about me! :)

I live in Arizona and have for the past 20 some years. I am originally from Ohio, and in my heart that will always be home to me!

I have been very lucky to be a stay at home Mom for the past 5 years to my 4 wonderful children. My oldest is 16 and my youngest is 4. It can be a little crazy at times but I wouldn't want it any other way! Before that I worked as a nurse in a Dr's office, which is where I met my sweet Husband who is my Best Friend and Biggest supporter!

I discovered scrapbooking 16 years ago, right after my 1st child was born. I got away from it for a while, but started back up 2 years ago when my husband got me a Cricut for Christmas. From there I discovered the world of Blogs, YouTube videos, and card making. I immediately feel in love with making cards and it has become quite an obsession! :) I love being able to send cards I've made to friends and family! I find crafting to be relaxing and a great stress reliever. It is also something fun I can share with my daughters. I just love the creations they come up with!

When not crafting I enjoy spending time with my family, going to movies, reading, and watching the Food Network as well as all my other "shows"!

I am so honored to be on Emma's design team!

Here is a card I made for a Birthday Party my daughter is going to.  I don't know about you but when I think of 6 year old boys dinosaurs immediately come to mind!  So of course I had to pull out my favorite cartridge, Create a Critter, and My Creative Time's  All Around Birthday Time stamp set and coordinating Scallop and Stitched Circle die set!  I love Emma's dies and every time I run one through my Cuttlebug I'm amazed!  Out pops this perfect little shape! lol! The card is an A2 size, the dinosaur is cut at 31/2 inches. The paper in from the Stomp! paper pack by My Minds Eye.  The ribbon is some I picked up at Big Lots.

Thanks for stopping by!
