My Creative Time 3D Wednesday

Hi! It's 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time!

For my project today I made a 4th of July candle holder.  I was inspired to try this from a video I saw on YouTube.  You can check it out HERE.

It was lots of fun to make and super simple!   I just covered the jar with Mod Podge and then I used My Creative Time's Stitched Button Dies for the stars.  I cut them out of tissue paper using my cuttlebug.  I folded the paper so it was several layers thick and the die cut them out perfectly!  The  medallion was made using several MCT Banner Dies.  I just cut them in half and glued them onto the MCT Stitched Circle die  and the topped that with MCT's Scallop and Stitched Circle Dies.  The stamp is from the My Little Fire Cracker  stamp set.

MCT Designer's Challenge!

Hi and welcome to MCT's Designer's Challenge!  This time around Emma is hosting and for her challenge you need to use some sort of "bling"!  Fun!! :)

I made a baby card for my Nephew and Niece who just had a baby!

The sweet sentiment is from MCT's All Star Baby stamp set (an oldie but a goodie! for sure!)

I stamped it onto the Chocolate Greetings Banner Die.  

The giraffe is from Lettering Delights.

MCT Thrifty Thursday

Hi!  It's Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time.  Time to pull out those scraps and make a project! :)  Today's theme is circles!  I found what I think was the perfect background paper in my patterned paper scrap box.  

Circles!!  I hoard, I mean save, all my scraps until they get ridiculously small and my scrap bins are the first place I look when making something.  The cute little bird and cage are from Miss Kate Cuttables. I made the sentiment using MCT Label Font Stamp set and Lowercase Fun Dies.  I added some thin hemp twine in brown from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

MCT Scrappin the Little Things

Hi! Today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time!  For my project today I made an 8X8 layout featuring my new little Great Niece Juliet!! :)

Isn't she beautiful!!!  I haven't met her yet as she lives in Ohio but I love her to pieces already!  

Looking at this layout I see I must have been holding my head at a slight angle while gluing things down! lol!! Oh well!  

Anyway..... :)  I used MCT Lowercase Fun Dies for the word Girl and it is a little hard to see in this picture, but I stamped the word baby (from the MCT All Star Baby set) onto the pink heart and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

MCT 3D Wednesday

 Hi!  It's 3D Wednesday over at My Creative Time.  The day we all create something other than a card or a layout!

For my project I made a little treat box I found in the Silhouette online store, it is a design by Lori Whitlock. I cut it out with my Cameo.

I thought the cute little sentiment from MCT's Birthday Buddies set went perfect with it! I stamped the sentiment onto one of the little tags from MCT's Chunky Jar Accessories set.

  

The papers are all from My Minds Eye Reunion 6X6 paper pad.  I inked the edges of everything with TH Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.
