Robot Card

Hi!  This is a card I made today for one of my Crafty Pen Pal's son, who had his tonsils out yesterday.  Poor little guy!  She said he loves crafting with her and loves to look at all the blogs she follows and knew he would love getting handmade cards!  :)  It was the perfect opportunity to use my new B is for Boys cartridge that I got with my Cricut rewards!!

The robot is cut at 3 1/2 inches.  I used some Recollections paper I had in my stash and some brads and Trendy Twine.  I printed the sentiment from my computer.

When my 4 year old heard I was making a card for a little boy who just had surgery she wanted to make one too!  To "help him get better"  :)

How cute is that!! :)

My Creative Time DT Entry :)

Hi!  This is a card I made for the DT call Emma is having at My Creative Time.  I just love Emma and her stamps and dies and think it would be such an honor and privilege to work with her.   I first discovered her on YouTube when I was trying to learn how to use my Gyspy.  She has a whole series of tutorials for new Gypsy users and without those videos I don't think I would be using mine today!  Anyway from there I discovered her blog and her wonderful stamps and dies.  I always  look forward to sneaky peek week and all her new releases.

Anyway! :)  For this card I used Birthday Bash for the elephant,  he was cut at 3 1/2 inches, the balloon is from Create A Critter and it was cut at 2 inches.  The scallop circle and stitched circle are My Creative Time dies.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time's All Around Birthday Time set and the small heart in the center is from My Creative Time's Anyday Bingo &Crossword set.  The paper is from K&Co's Confetti paper pack.  I used Tim Holtz distress ink in Tea Dye to ink around all the edges and added a little glitter glue to the heart and sheer pink ribbon for a little sparkle! :)

The apron is from the From My Kitchen cartridge as well as the rolling pin and spatula.  The paper is some from my stash.  The sentiment was printed from my computer.

Race for the Cure

Here is a card I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #93, Think Pink.  For this Challenge you had to make a card to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

I have a friend who is a survivor (ten years now! yay!) who recently lost her sister to breast and ovarian cancer.  This friend is an amazing woman who is doing all she can to get her story as well as her sister's story out there to help raise awareness.  She is doing a tremendous job at fund raising and is going to Race for the Cure sometime this month in Florida.  So I made this card in honor of her! :)

The shoes are from Rock Princess, I used the Build a Banner Kit from Emma at My Creative Time for part of the sentiment, the other part was printed from my computer.  I put lots of glitter on the sneakers and added some pink ribbon. :)

Fall Card

Hi!   First of all I want to thank you all for following my blog.  I am new to this blogging stuff and am not sure what the protocol is for saying thanks but I just want you to know I enjoy and appreciate all your kind comments!  :)

Now onto the card!

This is a card I made for the Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps. This weeks challenge was to create a Fall themed project that incorporates teal and brown.   I had recently picked up some Fall-ish paper at a new scrapbook store I found (my poor husband!).  I had no idea what I would use it for, but I thought it was so pretty :)  I love Fall and all the colors, it was always my favorite time of year in Ohio but now living in Arizona I don't get to enjoy the changing leaves.  I miss that.  My daughter, who is 5 and was born here,  could not figure out why I would make a tree that color! lol!

Anyway..... :)  The card is an A2 size.  The paper is from the Autumn Splendor collection by We R Memory Keepers.  The tree is from Simply Charmed (cut at 2 3/4"). The leaves are from Create A Critter (don't you just love that cartridge! it has everything on it!) The stamp is from Studio G, which they now sell at Walmart for 98 cents!

I have no idea what I'm going to do with the card seeing how I am married and
fell for my Husband a long time ago! lol!

Well thank you for stopping by :)

Froggie Card!

While looking at blogs I came across a challenge at BBTB2, the Challenge was to use the Frog from Create a Critter cartridge.  I have been needing to make a card with a frog on it for sometime now and this was the push I needed I guess!  That and seeing Jayne's cute cute frog card over on her blog:  jayne-designs.  If you have not checked it out,  you should , she is very creative  and very talented.  :)  I was inspired to actually get out my Cuttlebug and emboss!

The frog and the lily pad and grass are all from Create a Critter.

Another Halloween Card! :)

Hello!  I am posting yet another Halloween card!  Hope you all are not getting tired of them! :)  I have a lot of Halloween paper and stickers I really need to use up!  I am entering this in My Craft Spots Monday Challeng #29- Color Challenge.  For this challenge you must use black with orange, purple or green.

I decided to make several cards like this to mail out to friends and family.  I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but sometimes when I make a card I have a hard time parting with it!  I think it is because it takes me so LONG to make them!  Ugh!  I need to get faster and I need to remember to make at least 2 of everything!  lol!

For this card I used The Mini Monsters Cartridge for the Witch, the K & Co "Spooky" paper pack from last Halloween and Recollection stickers.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper.  I also used my new distressing tool to distress the edges, not sure it added anything to the card but I wanted to try it out! :)

More Itty Bitty Betty!

Hi just wanted to share a couple cards I made today! :) The first one I am entering in 2 challenges.  The first is Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge #33 Halloween Theme, for this one you must use Ribbon, Lace or Trim somewhere on the project.   The second Challenge is over at Craft Your Passion Challenges, this is an anything goes with ribbon challenge!  Fun! :)

Both cards are made with the Itty Bitty Betty Lady Bug digi image from Pink Cat Studios.  I felt like the image on the first one was a little too big, so I re-sized it and switched the ribbon for twine and colored it in a little different.  I am still learning about these Copic markers!!  It is hard for me to decide what color to color images but hopefully with practice I can learn! :)  I did try to match some of the colors from the background paper for her costume.

The paper is from K&Co (again!).  The "Spooky" paper pack from last year at Halloween.  I used the Martha Steward Drippy Goo punch, which I just got and LOVE!!!  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.

Thanks for looking!  :)

Itty Bitty Betty Lady Bug

This is a card I made today for the Color Challenge over at Crafty Sprouts.  For this Challenge you had to use Red, Black and or Slimy Green.  I immediately thought of this cute Itty Bitty Betty Lady Bug digi stamp from Pink Cat Studios.  I am also entering this is the Queen's Royal Digi Challenge #1.  For this challenge you had to use a Halloween digi.

I colored her with copic markers and used some ultra fine sparklets glitter on her wings and antennae! :)

The trick or treat sentiment is a My Pink Stamper stamp.

Hootie Halloween Card

Hi! This is a card I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #92 - Hootie Halloween, over and Cardz TV.  For this challenge you had to make a Halloween card with an Owl on it!  I love Owls and Halloween so making this card was a lot of fun!  I finally got to use my Hoot N Holler Cartridge!

It is very similar to the last card I made.  I basically just used the same design and just changed up the paper.  This paper is from the K & Co Halloween paper pack from this year, I found it at Michael's.  The owl is from Hoot n Holler, the cauldron from Mini Monsters, the bat stickers are Recollection brand, the witch's hat is a jolee sticker and the sentiment is from My Pink Stampers set Spooky puns.
